Welcome to iPSYcare's Wiki.
The iPSYcare project aimed to develop a sustainable, standardised, and scalable data infrastructure for mental healthcare, enabling psychiatric hospitals to consolidate high‑quality clinical data.
The main objectives were:
- Building a shared iPSYcare database: Establishing a central database in which pseudonymised patient data from four psychiatric hospitals and one merged general hospital are securely brought together through a protected workflow using eHealth pseudonymisation.
- Alignment with international standards: Mapping all iPSYcare variables to FHIR standards and mapping DSM diagnoses to SNOMED CT. Where GGZ‑specific SNOMED CT codes were lacking, the project formulated a proposal for a minimal mental‑health SNOMED CT subset, aligned with other Data Capabilities projects.
- Improving data quality and uniformity: Setting up a learning network in which local data managers share best practices, harmonise registration logic, monitor data quality, and validate data transfers.
- Developing a policy‑ and practice‑oriented dashboard: Delivering both a first and second version of a dynamic dashboard with aggregated data.
