Welcome to SPECTRE-HD's Wiki.
SPECTRE-HD (Secure Processing ECosystem for Trusted REuse - Health Data) is one of the data capability initiatives funded by the FPS Public Health after a call launched to stimulate the development of solutions allowing the reuse of health data beyond the individual hospital setting.
SPECTRE-HD delivers a scalable, FAIR-compliant infrastructure for secondary use of health data and addresses the fundamental challenge that hospitals face in meeting European Health Data Space (EHDS) regulatory requirements: how to make health data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable while maintaining the highest standards of privacy protection, security, and institutional data sovereignty.
The project is composed of three interconnected strategic objectives that create a complete ecosystem for EHDS-compliant health data management:
- Promote FAIR Health Data with Scalable Services and Solutions
- Promote Secure and Trusted Sharing of Data in the Context of EHDS
- Demonstrate FAIR Data-Enabling Services Through a REDCap Registry for Rare Diseases (R3D)
