Welcome to Mentalink's Wiki.
The primary objective of Mentalink is to fully centralize the mental‑health care demand in Belgium through an intuitive digital platform, ensuring that service users only need to tell their story once. This structured dossier is then automatically matched with the most appropriate care offering.
As a secondary objective, Mentalink reduces the administrative burden on mental‑health professionals by eliminating non value‑adding tasks. Intake is no longer dependent on the operator on duty, and the dossier becomes immediately available in a centralized and structured way. Care providers can focus on core activities such as treatment and patient interaction. This reduces burnout and increases job satisfaction.
As a tertiary objective, participating partners gain insight into regional discrepancies between care demand and supply. This enables more efficient resource allocation and helps prevent overload within the system.
The project was coordinated by Gino Ameye (gino.ameye@karus.be) and Jo Henderick (jo.henderick@karus.be).
