Welcome to KWS to FHIR's Wiki.
The main objective of this project is to organise, in collaboration with the participating hospitals, the systematisation and standardisation of data collection by converting data from patient records into FHIR resources and storing them in a FHIR store.
If data stored in one hospital’s EHR needs to be transferred to another hospital using a different EHR, it can be delivered in FHIR format, enabling joint processing.
A third party only needs to know the FHIR model in order to work with the data, without needing to know the specifications of the KWS model.
The FHIR resources are also transformed into a FHIR relational model, allowing them to be queried directly using standard business intelligence tools.
